THURSDAYS
Hope for Addiction meetings are held every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 2150 Mount Vernon Road, Hurricane.

MARCH 19
Twinkle Through Dinner at Drip’s Cafe on Main Street, Hurricane, from 5 to 7 p.m. Enjoy dinner and tunes with a variety of local artists.
Wingate by Wyndham Hotel, 417 Hurricane Creek Road, Hurricane, will be celebrating Putnam County Tastes and Talents with Art & Ales starting at 6 p.m. Enjoy local art and have a drink.

MARCH 20
Dunbar Church of the Nazarene, 1334 Lightner Avenue, Dunbar, will be holding a spring bazaar and hot dog sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be a 40th Street clean up event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Nitro.
Battle Runs Fitness Games will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Camp Appalachia, Scott Depot. Events will be things like sandbag runs, sled pushes, power throws, sled drags, tire flips, hand raised push ups, and more. Tickets are $40-80. To register, go to itnessGames.EventBrite.com

Creative Isolation – Art Inside the Walls will be held at The Garage, 3057 Mount Vernon Road, Hurricane, at 4 p.m. Cajun fish boil and juried art exhibit. Pre-sale tickets will be $22, $25 at the event. For more information, call (304) 545-0455.
There will be a hands on mobility screening and assessment from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Revved Up Crossfit, 3910 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane. The cost is $25.
Ferrell Automotive, 501 Midland Trail, Hurricane, will be holding a free basic vehicle maintenance class at 2 p.m.
There will be a dry water practice for people who are planning on competing in Portuguese Water Dog Water Trials in the future at noon at Endless Pawsabilities, LLC, 3572 Hurricane Creek Road, Hurricane. The cost is $10 per dog. For more information, call (304) 586-6013.

The Barboursville Farmer’s Market, 6501 Farmdale Road, Barboursville, will be holding a Food Truck Round Up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The City of Nitro will be holding Meet the Easter Bunny Drive Thru from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Nitro Public Library, 1700 Park Avenue, Nitro.
The Nitro Church of the Nazarene, 1400 Sattes Circle, will be holding a vendor and craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Battle Ground Wrestling is coming to Valley Park in Hurricane. Doors open at 5 p.m.; event begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are General Admission: $15, Preferred: $20, Front Row: $25, and can be bought at the door or online at www.battleground wrestlingwv.com

The First Church of God of Hurricane, 3225, East Putnam Avenue, Hurricane (one block north of the former Rite Aid store), will be holding revival services at 7 p.m. nightly. There will be singing at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday.

First Baptist Church of Hurricane, Main Street, Hurricane, will be holding a Resurrection Celebration with worship and music at 6:30 p.m.

First Baptist Church of Hurricane, Main Street, Hurricane, will be holding Spy Wednesday evening Bible study featuring a sermon entitled “Selling Jesus: How Much is Our Faith Worth?” at 6:30 p.m.

APRIL 1
First Baptist Church of Hurricane, Main Street, Hurricane, will be holding Maundy Thursday communion at noon.

APRIL 2

APRIL 3
The Annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Gritt’s Farm in Buffalo. Times are noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $50 and include event entry, egg hunt, meal and drink ticket, raffle ticket, and sweet treats to bring home. To register, go to tickets.grittsfarm.com
