Putnam Grand Jury Returns 53 Indictments

Putnam County Prosecuting Attorney, Mark A. Sorsaia, reports that fifty-three indictments were returned by the July 2021 Term Putnam County Grand Jury alleging fifty-nine persons committed one hundred thirty felonies and sixty-five misdemeanors. The following is the defendant’s year of birth, last known address, and offenses for which they were indicted.

George P. Ashworth, Jr. (1993) of 1625 16th Street, Nitro – burglary, strangulation and domestic battery

William A. Bebb-Harris (1990) of Columbus, Ohio – grand larceny and breaking and entering

Shauna R. Boggess (1985) of Panther, WV – driving on a revoked license-DUI related and driving on a suspended license

Abrayshia T. Branham (1993) of Beckley – possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

Rodney W. Brewer (1973) of Buckeye, WV – possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, obstructing an officer and driving on a revoked license-DUI related

Emmett D. Brooks (1998) of South Charleston – driving while impaired causing serious bodily injury and obstructing an officer

James M. Brown, Jr. (1977) of 432 Ches-Wal Road, Scott Depot – wanton endangerment (2), domestic battery, domestic assault and destruction of property

Conley (1992) of Chapmanville – unlawful possession of the controlled substance fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (2), giving false information to a member of the Department of Public Safety and conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance
