MONDAYS THROUGH NOVEMBER 1

The Putnam County Farmers’ Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valley Park, Hurricane.

NOW – OCTOBER 30
The Haunted Majestic, a floating seasonal haunted attraction, will be open from 7 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Haunted Majestic is located at Majestic Landing just north of Robert Newlon Airport at the end of Kyle Lane, off WV Route 2 five miles north of Huntington. The Barboursville Haunted Trail will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The tour starts near the Skate Park at the Dead End of Central Avenue. Tickets are $6.

Barboursville Civil War Days will be held at the Barboursville City Park. There will be a battle at 1 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The So-Kai Open Air Academy will be held at Shelter #1 at Valley Park in Hurricane at 11 a.m. on Fridays. Ages 3-10. Admission is $75; $35 per sibling. To register, go to sokaiclubhouse.com.

The St. Albans Fall Y’all Chili Cook-Off will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Olde Main.
The 33rd Annual Buffalo Octoberfest will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be a Bringing Back the Village Seminar at Grace Life Church, 93 Joy Lane, Culloden, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bringing Back the Village is a movement aimed to create a kinder, healthier and stronger community for our senior neighbors.

The Putnam County Democrat Club will hold their next meeting at the old Putnam Courthouse, 2nd floor, at 6:30 p.m.

Experience the largest collaboration of community and educational theatre in West Virginia with Appalachian Artists Collective production of The Telltale Lilac bush, adapted by A.E.
