The Ultimate Frisbee League will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane. League costs are 25$ per player for the season. For more information, call (304) 562-0518.

The Putnam County Farmers’ Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valley Park, Hurricane.

NOW – OCTOBER 30
The Haunted Majestic, a floating seasonal haunted attraction, will be open from 7 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Haunted Majestic is located at Majestic Landing just north of Robert Newlon Airport at the end of Kyle Lane, off WV Route 2 five miles north of Huntington. The Barboursville Haunted Trail will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The tour starts near the Skate Park at the Dead End of Central Avenue. Tickets are $6.
Visit the corn maze at Cooper Family Farms, 1302 W Main Street, Milton. Hours are Fridays from 5 to 10 p.m.; Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m.; and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Call 304-634-1722 for more information or to make reservations.

Main Street Trick or Treat in Hurricane will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

OCTOBER 30

Buffalo United Methodist Church will be having a Homecoming Celebration beginning at 10:30 a.m. Guest Speaker will be former pastor Earl Cochran and Special Music by The WV Courier.
One Life Church, 318 Thompson Road, Culloden, will be holding Trunk or Treat at 5 p.m.

NOVEMBER 3 – 7
Guyandotte Civil War Days will be held at the Madie Carroll House, 234 Guyan Street, Huntington. Presentations by local historians at the Methodist church at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; home tours and demonstrations from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Please wear masks.

NOVEMBER 4
There will be a foster care info session at the Hurricane Library at 2 p.m.

NOVEMBER 5 – 6

NOVEMBER 6 – 7
The Charleston Coin Club will be held at the Charleston Civic Center, in Parlor D, Charleston. The show will be held between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday. There is no admission fee.

NOVEMBER 6
Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle will be having a flea market, hot dog/bbq and baked goods sale from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at its Activity Building located at 115 Steele Street, Dunbar.
There will be a beginner yoga workshop from 10 a.m. to noon at Grounded In Peace, 3465 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane. The cost is $50. Call (304) 857-1601 to register.
The United Methodist Women of Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church, 2848 Putnam Avenue, Hurricane are sponsoring the Fall Festival Crafts, Vendors and Book event from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The American Legion Post 187 will be holding Veteran’s Appreciation Day in front of the Putnam County Judicial Building in Winfield at 2 p.m.
