Community Calendar for Week of February 17

There will be a free community Bible Study on Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m. and Bible art journaling from 10 a.m. to noon at My messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane.

There will be a Dancing Through the Decades class from 8 to 9 p.m. at Lee’s Studio of Dance, 8325 Winfield Road, Building D, Winfield.

There will be workshops every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at My Messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane. Create seasonal decore, wreaths, signs, paint pouring, crochet, cards, jewelry, and more.

There will be home school arts and crafts classes from 1 to 2 p.m. at My Messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane. The cost is $5 per participant.

There will be crafts for toddlers from 10 a.m. to noon at My Messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane. The cost is $5.
There will be Friday Crafternoon classes for children from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at My Messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane. Ages 4 and up. The cost is $5-10 per participant.

The Cupid Fun Run and Walk will start at 5 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane. There is a $10 registration fee to be paid at the event.
There will be a free early childhood conference hosted by the Putnam Wellness Coalition from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane.

The Ronk Family Farm Annual Maple Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 725 Whispering Pnes, Alum Creek. Learn more about maple syrup making.
Zombie Prom will be held at Fear on the Farm, 8325 Winfield Road, Winfield, from 8 p.m. to midnight. Ages 14 and up.

River Ridge Church, Saturn Way, Hurricane, will be holding a night of worship starting at 6:30 p.m.

Roy Kuhl Sports in Winfield will be celebrating their tenth anniversary with a sale starting at 10 a.m.

The Winter Blues Market will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.
There will be a healthy lifestyle event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Huntington Mall.
SteelGypsy will be performing at 6 p.m. at Barnyard BBQ, 1101 Hospital Drive, Hurricane.

The WV Kids’ Consignment Sale will be coming to Valley Park in Hurricane. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Stephanie Smith, candidate for Putnam County Circuit Clerk, will be holding a meet and greet from 6 to 8 p.m. at Drip Cafe on Main Street, Hurricane.
