There will be a holiday vintage market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saving Vintage, 401 Midland Trail, Hurricane.

OCTOBER 14
The 3rd Annual Trick or Neigh will start at 6 p.m. at Blessed Acres Farm, 4700 E. Mud River Road, Milton. Featuring horses dressed in costumes. Admission is $5.
King’s River Ministries, 777 Mallory Lane N, St. Albans, will be holding Rekindle the Embers Night of Worship at 7 p.m.
The Hurricane First Church of God, 3225 East Putnam Avenue, will be holding their Second Friday Gospel Sing at 7 p.m.
There will be a foam dance party for children ages 1-6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and ages 7-14 from 8 to 9:30 p.m., at The Foam Garagae, 2716 Putnam Avenue, Hurricane. The cost is $8 per child.

OCTOBER 15 – 16
The Kanawha Rock and Gem Show will be held at the South Charleston Community Center, 601 Jefferson Road, South Charleston. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mount Union Church, 19268 Jerry’s Run Road, Pliny, will be holding their annual bean dinner auction starting at noon.
The Nitro Antique Car Club will be holding a car show at the Nitro High School parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Live music by Poser Joe at 11 a.m. Bring an unused toy for the club’s Toys for Tots program.
The Absten family will be making apple butter and hosting a vendor fair starting at 8 a.m. at 9430 Heizer Creek Road, Poca.
The Buffalo Octoberfest will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Shoppers Circle in Buffalo.
The Putnam County Animal Shelter Halloween Pet Costume Contest & Fall Outdoor Market Fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the shelter.
The Putnam County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Car Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Putnam County Courthouse in Winfield. $10 per vehicle.
The Winfield United Methodist Church, 20 Radwin Drive, will be hosting a Free Community Breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

There will be a Putnam County Emergency Services Special Levy informational meeting for Teays Valley Fire District property owners at 2 p.m. at the Teays Valley Fire Department in Scott Depot.
Third Sunday Board Games will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Hampton Inn conference room in Teays Valley.

OCTOBER 19
There will be Trunk or Treat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Hurricane Creek Road, Hurricane.

There will be square dance lessons on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at Forrest Burdette Methodist Church in Hurricane.

There will be a Birth to Three pamper party to celebrate their practioners from 6 to 9 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane.

The GFWC WV Women’s Club of Cross Lanes is sponsoring their annual free Health Fair at Cross Lanes United Methodist Church from 9:00 to noon.
The Putnam County Bank will be holding a free shred day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Milton location.
Grace Life Church, 93 Joy Lane, Culloden, will be hosting a Bringing Back the Village seminar to create a kinder community for older neighbors. The seminar will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Nitro First Presbyterian Church, 111 21st Street, Nitro, will be holding a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. to benefit the Nitro Mission Team provide Christmas blankets for families in need. The cost is $10.

Community Autism Resources & Education Systems will be holding Spooktacular from 6 to 8 p.m. at Camp Appalachia, 167 Fletcher Road, Scott Depot. Enjoy trunk-or-treat, hayrides, pumpkin decorating, costume contests, games, and treats in a sensory-friendly environment.
My Genesis Healthcare, 1390 N Poplar Fork Road, Hurricane, will be holding a fall festival and vendor event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
