The Kanawha Valley Astronomical Society will meet at the Camp Virgil Tate Café at 6 p.m.

The Cross Lanes United Methodist Women will be holding Triple Holiday Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The GFWC WV Women’s Club of Cross Lanes is sponsoring their annual free Health Fair at Cross Lanes United Methodist Church from 9:00 to noon.
The Putnam County Bank will be holding a free shred day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Milton location.
The Cabell Health Care Center Fall Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the center located at 30 Hidden Brook Way, Culloden. Outdoor festivities, food, entertainment, clogging, and more.
Grace Life Church, 93 Joy Lane, Culloden, will be hosting a Bringing Back the Village seminar to create a kinder community for older neighbors. The seminar will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Nitro First Presbyterian Church, 111 21st Street, Nitro, will be holding a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. to benefit the Nitro Mission Team provide Christmas blankets for families in need. The cost is $10.

The West Virginia Horse Network Fun Show will be held at the Winfield Riding Club starting at noon.
The City of Hurricane will be holding a pumpkin carving contest from 3 to 5 p.m. at City Park.

OCTOBER 24

There will be a Fright Market starting at 5:30 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane. Local businesses will be giving out candy and having small games. There will also be a movie.

OCTOBER 28
My Family Preschool and Childcare Center will be holding Trunk or Treat at 7 p.m.

OCTOBER 29
Walker Chevrolet, 4130 1st Avenue, Nitro, will be holding a Trunk or Treat and vendor fair from 4 to 6 p.m.
The movie “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” will be offered as a drive-in showing at 7 p.m. at the Eleanor Pool.
Elizabeth Baptist Church, 410 Washington Street, Bancroft, will be holding a fall party at 5 p.m. Crafts, snacks, and fun.
There will be a Hocus Pocus canvas painting afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fear on the Farm, 8325 Winfield Road, Winfield. The cost is $50. For more information, call (304) 343-4325.
The Pulse Church will be hosting Treats in the Street from 2 to 4 p.m. at Winfield Middle School. There will be cotton candy, popcorn, candy, and games.

The City of Hurricane will be holding Main Street Trick or Treat from 6 to 8 p.m.

OCTOBER 30
The Buffalo United Methodist Church, located in The Buffalo Historic Square, along Rt. 62 in Buffalo, will be having a Homecoming Service beginning at 10:30 a.m. A Covered Dish Dinner will follow the Service.
The Upper Vandalia Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. at at the Bancroft Church of God Mission, 5936 Charleston Road, Bancroft. Robert (Bob) Walden will be the speaker. Visitors are encouraged to bring a historic object, family heirloom, or antique to discuss.
