NOVEMBER 18 – 20
The 53rd Capital City Art & Craft Show will be held at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for children under 12.

Kanawha Valley FOOTMAD (Friends of Old Time Music and Dance) is hosting its second community dance of the season from 7-10 p.m. at Hansford Center, 500 Washington Street, St. Albans.
The Putnam County Chamber of Commerce will be holding Toast! at 8 a.m. at Area 34, 971 State Route 34, Teays Valley.

The Buffalo Church of God Fall Bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church fellowship hall on Church Street in Buffalo.
Elizabeth Baptist Church, 410 Washington Street, Bancroft, will be hosting a Men’s Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner at 6 p.m. for men only.
The Winfield United Methodist Church, 20 Radwin Drive, will be hosting a Free Community Breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The Teays Valley Church of God Fall Fest will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church located at 185 Connection Point, Scott Depot. Local artisans and vendors.
Cooking with Kathy and Recipe Swap will be held at 11 a.m. at the Putnam County Main Library.
There will be a food pantry at 8:30 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 3653 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane.

Battle Ground Wrestling presents Fall of Saigon at 7 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane. Doors and concessions open at 6 p.m.

There will be a Multi-Generation Story Time at 10:00 a.m. at the Putnam County Main Library in Teays Valley.

The Pulse Church, 5368 WV Route 34, Winfield, will be hosting a food pantry from 2 to 7 p.m.

The Iron Horse Church, 120 Blackwood Avenue, Nitro, will be holding their 2nd Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner from 2 to 6 p.m.
The Bancroft Thanksgiving Parade will be held at 11 a.m. Meet at the baseball field on the corner of Jefferson St. and 3rd Avenue, proceed to 7th Avenue, and come back via Washington Street.

Area 34, 971 WV Route 34, Hurricane, will be celebrating Shop Small Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Yuletide in the Park Small Business Saturday Vendor Event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane.
The Crush Run 10 Miler Course Preview and Training Run will start at 8 a.m. at Meeks Mountain Trails at the Hurricane City Park.
Alto Design Paint Party & Craft Classes is partnering with Valley Park in Hurricane for an enjoyable evening of painting with the Grinch from 6 to 8 p.m. The cost is $38.50 (tax included). Register by going to AltoDesign.org
My Messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane, will be observing Small Business Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Knitting and crochetting from 9 – 11 a.m.; and make gift projects from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

STEM: Oobleck with Belle Chemical is a workshop which will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Hurricane Branch Library. Middle schoolers can learn about oobleck, a substance that is both a solid and a liquid.

There will be a ladies’ craft night from 6 to 10 p.m. at My Messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane. Craft prices vary.

The Putnam County 4-H Leaders Association invites you to a holiday craft workshop and cookie baking contest at the Putnam Technical Career Center in Eleanor on December 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $10 at the door. RSVP by calling 304-586-0217 by November 28.

The Buffalo United Methodist Church will be hosting an Advent Bible Study every Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
