Families had a chance to recreate the story of the Three Little Pigs this last Friday at the Eleanor Library. In the fable, three pigs each build a house – one made from straw, one made from sticks, and one made from bricks. The Big Bad Wolf comes along and blows down the first two houses, but fails to destroy the one made from bricks. The Eleanor Library provided parents and children the various building materials (straws, Popsicle sticks, blocks, etc.) construct houses so that they could recreate the story and find out which house was the strongest.
