- The Putnam County Library is hosting a birdwatching at the Eleanor wildlife sanctuary. Meet at the trailhead on Eagle Drive near the Armory and locks in Eleanor at 9 a.m.

- Beauty For Ashes – A Women’s Ministry Encounter will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Niro Church of God, 15th Street and 2nd Avenue, Nitro.
- There will be a beginner crochet class at 1 p.m. at Bake My Day, 14 Bank Street, Nitro. The cost is $20 per person.
- There will be a parking lot sale/flea market to benefit the Zoology Zone from 6 a.m. to noon at the Putnam County Bank Loan Center parking lot in Hurricane.
