Putnam Aging hosted their annual Senior Prom on Friday, May 16, at the Hometown Senior Cener. The event featured an “Enchanted Forest” theme, and was organized by Cindy Bright, the director of the Hometown center.

The Wildwood Players provided entertainment for the night. Light refreshments were served and several door prizes were given out. Fifty people came out to dance and enjoy the evening.

Kenneth Bird of Red House and Suzanne Jones of Poca were named the 2025 Senior Prom King and Queen.

Originally started in 2018 by the Putnam Aging program, the Putnam County Senior Prom rotates around the three senior centers in the county, which are located in Buffalo, Hometown, and Hurricane.
