There were few in numbers at the Eleanor pool on Saturday, May 24th.

The weather may have been cool this past Memorial Day weekend, with temperatures in the mid-60’s to low-70’s, but it did not dissuade people from visiting local pools.

Around 700 people attended Waves of Fun at Hurricane’s Valley Park over Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Waves of Fun and the Eleanor Pool will officially open for the season this coming Saturday, May 31, while the Hurricane Sprayground officially opened on Saturday, May 24. Waves of Fun hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., and the Eleanor Pool’s hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon until 6 p.m. The Hurricane Sprayground will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
