Farley’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Winners

Contestants had to consume as many hot dogs and buns as possible in 5 minutes.

First place winner was Logan Beabout. He downed 15 hot dogs in 5 minutes to take home $500. Last year, Logan took third place money after defeating two others in a two-dog eat off. Second Place winner with 13 hot dogs and $250 in prize money was Chris Justice.

Third Place winner, Robbie Hunter, ate 12 hot dogs in five minutes but did not get to claim the $100 prize until he finished off two more buns and weiners before two other 12-dog eaters.

The Family Wealth Group supplied this cooling station for all who chose to take in festivities at the Putnam County Bank Sports Complex following the parade.

Family Wealth Group, Putnam County Bank and Best Virginia Heating and Cooling were the major sponsors which made the give-a-ways of cotton candy, sno cones, ice cream and watermelon possible. Other free features included inflatables, put put golf, balloon twisting, magic show, inflatables, petting zoo, concert by REWIND THE WALKMAN, and the fireworks.
