Buffalo Octoberfest — Fun Blended with Vendor Variety

There nothing like the thrill of a first-ever pony ride.

The annual Buffalo Octoberfest has been an annual event for 37 years ago. This year’s event was held Saturday, October 18. This year’s Octoberfest featured close to record number of vendors. Vendor fees finance the cost of free fun for the youngsters in attendance.

This year’s freebies included a petting zoo, inflatables, and pony rides. A vendor supplied wagon ride was available for $5. The entire grounds that once were home to the Buffalo Shopping Center with suppliers of handmade crafts, seasonal offerings, antiques, flea market items, carnival-style and home-cooked food, and more.

This team provided a taste of times past for numerous attendees.
Handcrafted outdoor furniture was available at bargain prices.
FFA members from Lincoln County produced fresh apple butter.
