FRIEDA BLANKENSHIP
Frieda A. Blankenship, 75, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Charleston Area Medical Center surrounded by family after a short illness.
Today we remember a beautiful soul, Frieda, who left this world on her Birthday- a day that will forever hold both sorrow and gratitude. She was a light to everyone she met, always friendly, welcoming, and quick to make others feel at home. As a Nana, she was nothing short of amazing, pouring endless love and joy into her grandchildren’s lives and cherishing every moment with them. She found happiness in the simple things, especially tending to her garden and decorating for every holiday with excitement and care. Her loyal dog, Dusty, adored her more than anything and was always by her side. Though our hearts are broken, her warmth, her spirit, and her love will continue to bloom in all of us, just like the flowers she so lovingly grew.

Blankenship Jr. of Bastian, VA; daughter Felicia (Duane) Talley of Hurricane. Grandchildren: Thomas (Brooke), Hannah, Brady, Lindsay, Lucas, Justin (Brianna), and Lauren (Timmy). Great grandchildren: Noah, Arely, Evelynn and Blakely.
