- Come to Mitchell’s Grove (Hometown Roadside Park) on Route 62 for A Hometown Christmas at 5:30 p.m. S’mores, chestnut roasting, crafts, hot chocolate, and more.
- Parents’ Night Out: Parents can bring children ages 3-12 to Bancroft Mission, 5936 Charleston Road, Bancroft, from 6 to 9 p.m. and then enjoy a night out. The cost is $10 per child.
- Game Grove, located in Putnam Village Shopping Center in Teays Valley, will be holding a board game night from 6 to 10:30 p.m.
- Bright Star Theatre presents “Lenny and Mabel’s Nutcracker” at 2 p.m. at the Putnam County Main Library in Teays Valley.
- The Zoology Zone, located at Valley Park in Hurricane, will be holding a Christmas Around the World Workshop. Tickets are $15.

- Santa Claus will be coming to Regal Cinemas in the Nitro Marketplace from 1 to 6 p.m. There will be free holiday movie showings afterwards.

- Santa will be at the Eleanor Piggly Wiggly from noon to 2 p.m. Bring a donation for the Putnam County Animal Shelter.
- There will be hot chocolate with Santa from 10 a.m. to noon at Coffee With A Twist, 101 Main Avenue, Nitro.
- Santa Claus will be coming to Sugar Shenanigans candy store, 722 First Avenue South, Suite A, Nitro, from 1 to 4 p.m.
- Grace Life Church, 93 Joy Lane, Culloden, will be holding a live nativity from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Appalachian Championship Wrestling will be coming to the Teays Valley Christian School gym in Scott Depot. Bell time is 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $10; children and student tickets are $5.
- There will be breakfast with Santa and Friends from 9 to 11 a.m. at Teays Valley Center, 1390 N Poplar Fork Road, Hurricane. The cost is $5 per person.
- There will be free horse and carriage rides from 4 to 7 p.m. on Main Street in Hurricane.
