At 50 pounds, Britney the python is a heavy load for her handler.

Zoology Zone Science Center at Valley Park was filled with excitement on Saturday, January 31, as the Center held a January Giants Event. The event allowed visitors to learn about the larger reptiles kept at the center. In addition to learning their weights and lengths, they had a chance to touch iguanas and Burmese pythons. Britney, the Burmese python, is 22 feet long, and one very large iguana is 6 feet long.
