- The Vandalia Backgammon Club holds weekly backgammon sessions from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays at the Putnam Moose, located in Putnam Village Shopping Center in Teays Valley. Open to the public.
- Every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. is Mahjong Night at Valley Park Conference Center in Hurricane. Come play, learn, or teach the game.

- There will be a Cross Walk Through Buffalo starting at 6 p.m. at the gazebo. Hot dogs and fellowship at the Buffalo Church of God.
- The Nitro Church of the Nazarene, 1400 Sattes Circle, will be hosting The Streets of Jerusalem Easter Drama at 6 p.m. each day.
- The Girls’ Night Out Comedy Show will be at 7 and 9 p.m. at The Garage, 3057 Mount Vernon Road, Scott Depot. Tickets are $25 at the door.

The Hurricane First Church of God, 3225 East Putnam Avenue, will be holding their springtime church-wide yard sale beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until about 1 p.m.

- Buffalo Founders Day will be celebrated at the Buffalo Historic Square from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Harmons Creek Church of the Nazarene, 360 Harmons Creek Road, Poca, will be holding an Easter egg hunt at noon.
- Rock Branch Independent Church, 655 Woodland Drive, Nitro will be holding their annual egg hunt at 10 a.m. Ages 5th grade and younger.
- The Town of Eleanor will be hosting a pancake breakfast from 10 a.m. to noon, and an Easter egg hunt in the baseball field starting at noon.
- Providence Baptist Church, 172 Cedar Way, Scott Depot, will be holding an Easter egg hunt starting at 4 p.m.
- Sycamore Missionary Baptist Church, Sycamore Road, Hurricane, will be holding their Easter egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m.
- There will be a tire and electronics collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the old Paynes Produce location in Winfield.
- Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 2150 Mount Vernon Road, Hurricane, will be holding their annual Easter egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m. Ages 0-12.
- Springtime in the Park will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane. The egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. sharp.

- There will be a sunrise service at Buffalo Memorial Park at 6:40 a.m. with breakfast and fellowship at Buffalo Methodist.
- The Bridge Church, 279 Dairy Road, Poca, will be holding Easter services and a play at 10:45 a.m.
APRIL 7
- There will be a free line dancing class at 7:30 p.m. at Brookse’s Bar and Grill, 13184 Winfield Road, Winfield.
APRIL 10 – 11
- There will be a spring vendor fair to support Putnam County 4-H from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Eleanor Fire Department.
