- Putnam County Solid Waste Authority will be holding a homeschool science class from 10 a.m. to noon at Hurricane City Park.
- There will be a book signing with children’s author Diana Phisner Walker from 4 to 6 p.m. at Parties and Peonies, 207 Midland Trail, Hurricane.

- Higher Ground Singing Group will be performing at 7 p.m. at Lone Oak Church of God Mission, 1303 Mclane Pike, Red House.
- The Upper Vandalia Historical Society will be meeting at 2 p.m. at the Historical Square Community Church, 20058 Buffalo Road, Buffalo. Topic is the first fire truck in Buffalo.
- The Putnam County Moose, located in Putnam Village Shopping Center in Teays Valley, offers line dancing every Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
- St. Timothy’s in the Valley Episcopal Church, Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, and St. Andrew United Methodist Church will be hosting Blessing of the Animals at 2 p.m. at the large shelter at Valley Park in Hurricane.
