Construction of a new Bills Creek Road bridge over I-64 has begun. The project will allow I-64 to be widened to six lanes between U.S. 35 and the Nitro Bridge. The I-64 upgrade includes a new bridge over the Kanawha River and reconstruction of the St. Albans and Nitro interchanges.
