Putnam Grand Jury Returns 43 Indictments

Putnam County Prosecuting Attorney, Mark A. Sorsaia, reports that forty-three indictments were returned by the March 2021 Term Putnam County Grand Jury alleging forty-three persons committed one hundred ten felonies and fifty-nine misdemeanors. The following is the defendant’s year of birth, last known address, and offenses for which they were indicted.

Thomas B. Adkins (1964) of 71 Hickory Mills Road, Hurricane – incest (3), sexual assault in the second degree (7), sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian, or other person in a position of trust (3), and sexual assault in the first degree (8)

Gabriel J. Ambriz (1990) of St. Albans – grand larceny

Antwaine D. Brown (1989) of Cross Lanes – driving on a revoked license-DUI related, third offense; driving on a suspended license and driving without the required security

Joshua S. Browning (1980) of Griffithsville – possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance (2)

Cody L. Burks (1994) of 1306 Roosevelt Boulevard, Eleanor – Unlawful possession with the intent to deliver the controlled substance fentanyl and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (2)
