D&L Produce and Flowers Makes Seasonal Opening at Hurricane Location

D&L Produce and Flowers is once again open for business. David and Lynn Young of Hurricane sell Amish-grown produce and flowers, yard décor, and canned and packaged foods. They have two locations: across the road from Hurricane High School, and by AutoZone in Teays Valley.

Their current offerings include petunias, pansies, million bells, dahlias, daisies, hostas, canna lilies, marigolds and geraniums. They are also selling tomatoes and onions, and expect to have cucumbers and ferns in this weekend. In addition to the flowers and produce, they also sell Amish-crafted wooden yard furniture and wooden planters they made themselves.

The AutoZone location is not open for the season yet, but when it opens, the hours will be 10 a.m. through 6 p.m., seven days a week. The location across from the high school is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

“Come and see us,” says Lynn Young.
