On Saturday afternoon April 17, 2021 at 2:30 was an exciting siting when I looked out the patio door and saw my first humming bird of this season sipping from “Linda’s Delicatessen”! George was at the back door coming inside with Frosty. I hurried to him and asked him if he had seen the bird but he hadn’t. I called my mother, Eva Fisher but she didn’t answer her phone. Then I called Ron Allen at the Hurricane Breeze and shared my thrilling experience with him. He seemed delighted. Then I posted it on Facebook and received several comments from well-wishers who were anticipating their first arrival. Isn’t it amazing how we like the bigger things in life but when something as small as a little hummingbird arrives it is so very exciting?!
