Putnam County Fair Shamrock Shuffle

The Putnam County Fairgrounds in Eleanor hosted the Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run on Saturday, May 1.

The venue served as a fundraiser for both the Bee Ridge Bears 4-H Club and the Putnam County Fairboard.

The fairboard is using the funds to team with volunteers in the construction of a Goat Exhibitors Barn. The barn will provide increased opportunities for Putnam youth to participate in 4-H activities and competitions at the annual county fair in July.

Mitch Rhein finished first overall in the 5K. Martha Weber was first place finisher among female participants.
