The Hurricane High Show Choirs, Red Hot and Heat Wave, were big winners at the Saturday, May 1, West Virginia State Show Choir Festival.
The Red Hot won Best Costumes, Best Choreography, Best Vocals, 1st Place Class A, and Grand Champions Overall.

The Heat Wave won Best Choreography, Best Vocals, Best Show Design, Best Costumes, and were named State Champions UniSex Division.
This makes 13 State titles for Red Hot and 4 for Heat Wave. There was no State Show Choir Festival in 2020. Hurricane High’s Red Hot and Heat Wave won first place in 2019.
