Mayor Scott Edwards presented Lily Haught with a Certificate of Recognition at the July 6 city council meeting.

She is the 2021 Class AAA State 100m high hurdles and 300m hurdles champion.

She was also a member of the State Runner-Up 4x100m Relay and 4x200m Relay teams.

She was named the MSAC Athlete of the Year and is in the running for Gatorade Athlete of the Year.
