Autumn’s beauty was in full display throughout the county this week.

Betsy and I took a brief leaf tour early this week, taking in the country roads between Bowles and Manilla Ridges on the northside of the Kanawha and Turkey Creek and Kimber Road in the southern reaches of Putnam.

With foliage photos, lighting is critical. Unfortunately, the sun was not where it needed to be to capture the best colors when we were in the Trace Fork area near Lincoln County.

We are sharing our best which were all snapped on the winding roads between Paradise and Robertsburg.

Vehicle traffic was almost non-existent, allowing us to make stops at vantage points of our choosing.
