Putnam County Farm Bureau Reunites to Hold Holiday Gathering

The Putnam County Farm Bureau held a holiday gathering on Monday, December 6, at the courthouse in Winfield. The main theme of the meeting was reuniting with friends and acquaintances after a long pandemic-related absence.

After refreshments were served, the Bureau called to order a brief meeting. One of the topics discussed was the 102nd West Virginia Farm Bureau annual meeting, which was held from November 14 through 16 at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling. Other topics included various bills which could negatively affect West Virginia farmers.

The Putnam County Farm Bureau is open to anyone with an interest in farming or agriculture. The Bureau will meet again on the second Monday of January at 6:30 p.m. at the old Putnam County Courthouse.
