The above photo, taken January 11 by Ed Conner, captures the demolition of the old Bills Creek bridge over I-64. The demolition will allow I-64 to be widened to six lanes.

All removal work was performed during the nighttime hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and completed in about ten days.
