Charlie and Jackie Browning were married on February 3, 1952, in Winfield. Only 1 in 10,000 couples remain together in marriage for 70 years. Charlie and Jackie, residents of Scott Depot, became members of the exclusive 1 in 10,000 club last Thursday (February 3, 2022).

Seventy years of marriage is something to be celebrated. Celebrate they did at a special gala hosted by the John Henson Senior Center in Hurricane. The couple was showered with gifts suited for the occasion.

The event was organized by Center Director Barb Lambert.
