Putnam Grand Jury Indicts 45 Individuals

Putnam County Prosecuting Attorney, Mark A. Sorsaia, reports that indictments were returned by the March 2022 Term Putnam County Grand Jury alleging forty-five persons committed two hundred one felonies and forty-four misdemeanors. The following is the defendant’s year of birth, last known address, and offenses for which they were indicted.

Army R. Asbury (1982) of 500 Hodges Road, Hurricane – welfare fraud

Anthony S. Berry (1989) of 67 Meadow Lane, Poca – driving on a revoked license-DUI related, third offense

Charles W. Brundege (1962) of Route 1, Box 1771, US Route 35 North, Pliny – fleeing in a vehicle from a law-enforcement officer in reckless indifference to the safety of others, fleeing from a law-enforcement officer by means other than the use of a vehicle, receiving stolen property and person prohibited from possessing a firearm

Cody J. Brunner (1989) of Powhatan Point, Ohio – person prohibited from possessing a firearm, domestic assault and failure to register as a sex offender

Steven R. Call (1980) of 15849 Winfield Road, Winfield – driving in an impaired state causing serious bodily injury

Keith S. Carter (1973) of 135 Rebecca Drive, Scott Depot – wanton endangerment, domestic batter, domestic assault, battery, shooting a firearm within five hundred feet of a dwelling house, brandishing a deadly weapon and violation of a protective order

Ralph D. Clark (1964) of 4400 1st Avenue, Nitro – driving on a revoked license-DUI related, third offense, driving without the required security and improper use of registration plate
