Alisa Grady Is the 2022 Miss Hurricane Independence Day Queen

The 2022 Miss Hurricane Independence Day pageant was held April 16th, 2022 at the National Guard Armory in Eleanor. Contestants of all ages competed for 12 titles. Older contestants took part in interviews, promo performance and introduction while all contestants competed in formal wear/evening gown competition for a panel of judges. The event was emceed by the reigning 2022 Mrs. West Virginia United States Agriculture Marty Rae Walker-Owen and directed by Shara Shamblin.

The 2022 Miss Hurricane Independence Day is Alisa Grady. Making up her royal court are Mrs. Hurricane Independence Day, Candi Arthur; Ms. Hurricane Independence Day, Lauren Murrell; Teen Miss Hurricane Independence Day, Anna Poore; Pre-Teen Miss Hurricane Independence Day, Leela Williams; Junior Miss Hurricane Independence Day, Ella Grant; Little Miss Hurricane Independence Day, Brylee Arrington; Tiny Miss Hurricane Independence Day, Violet LeMaster; Toddler Miss Hurricane Independence Day, Tatum Blankenship; Baby Miss Hurricane Independence Day, Payson Ray; Little Mister Hurricane Independence Day, Jedidiah Vance; and Mister Hurricane Independence Day, Nolan Wilcoxen.

The Queen and her Court will be part of Hurricane’s Independence Day parade and festivities slated to follow at City Park on Monday, July 4th.
