Two Seniors Receive Netranom Scholarships

Hurricane High School seniors Domenick Hoh and Jacob Bock each received $500 Netranom Scholarships at the school’s award assembly on May 26.

Netranom owner, Scott Edwards, initiated the company’s scholarship program three or four years ago.

“It is my way of saying ‘Thank You’ to the community, Edwards said. “Hurricane is my home. It is the home to my business. I am a Hurricane High School graduate.

“I want to help these HHS graduates to succeed such that they might help others.”

Netranom scholarships are available to HHS graduates who pursue degrees relating to Internet Technology. Checks are issued directly to the college or university in which recipients are enrolled.

Netranom usually interviews between 5 and 10 applicants each year.
