The Putnam County 4-H program reaches out to 1,404 youth by enlisting 80 adult volunteers. At the September 29 County Commission meeting, the commission proclaimed October 2-8 as 4-H Week.

The proclamation is WVU Extension Agent Raechel Neal’s way of making more county residents more aware of the opportunities which 4-H offers.
