The St. Albans Festival of Lights is going on nightly from 6 to 8 p.m. at the St. Albans City Park, 931 Observatory Drive, St. Albans.

NOVEMBER 25
Nashville Recording Artist Austin Adkins will be performing from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Riverside Cafe, 3680 Winfield Road, Winfield.

NOVEMBER 26
The 2022 Almost Heaven EtsyWV Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn & Suites Charleston West, 400 2nd Avenue SW, Charleston.
Area 34, 971 WV Route 34, Hurricane, will be celebrating Shop Small Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Yuletide in the Park Small Business Saturday Vendor Event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane.
The Crush Run 10 Miler Course Preview and Training Run will start at 8 a.m. at Meeks Mountain Trails at the Hurricane City Park.
Alto Design Paint Party & Craft Classes is partnering with Valley Park in Hurricane for an enjoyable evening of painting with the Grinch from 6 to 8 p.m. The cost is $38.50 (tax included). Register by going to AltoDesign.org

Buffalo Church of the Nazarene, 25053 Buffalo Road, will be holding their annual Hanging of the Greens service starting at 6 p.m.
The First Baptist Church of Nitro, 2200 2nd Avenue, Nitro, will be holding a Trim-the-Tree Tree Lighting ceremony and dinner starting at 5:30 p.m.
Rodney Barbour will be performing on the Harrah Symphonic Organ on Saturday, November 27, at Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church at 2848 Putnam Avenue, Hurricane. Admission is free.

NOVEMBER 29

STEM: Oobleck with Belle Chemical is a workshop which will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Hurricane Branch Library. Middle schoolers can learn about oobleck, a substance that is both a solid and a liquid.

There will be a ladies’ craft night from 6 to 10 p.m. at My Messy Desk, 151 Dudding Avenue, Hurricane. Craft prices vary.

DECEMBER 1
The Putnam County 4-H Leaders Association invites you to a holiday craft workshop and cookie baking contest at the Putnam Technical Career Center in Eleanor from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $10 at the door. RSVP by calling 304-586-0217 by November 28.

There will be a wreath making class at 10 a.m. at the Poca Library.
Revved Up Fitness is hosting the 7th Annual Girls Fun Fitness Night Out to raise money for local Backpack Buddy programs. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Teays Physical Therapy Center, 3910 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane.

DECEMBER 2 – 3
The 18th Annual River Arts Show will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charleston, 520 Kanawha Blvd W. Admission is$3.
There will be a live Nativity at Yuletide in the Parkat Valley Park in Hurricane from 6 to 9 p.m.

DECEMBER 2
There will be a free tire collection day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at West Virginia Cashin Recylcables in Nitro.
