Putnam Grand Jury Indicts 55 Individuals

Putnam County Prosecuting Attorney, Mark A. Sorsaia, reports that indictments were returned by the November 2022 Term Putnam County Grand Jury alleging fifty-five (55) persons committed one hundred fifty-one (151) felonies and forty-two (42) misdemeanors. The following is the defendant’s year of birth, last known address, and offenses for which they were indicted.

Robert D. Allen (1981) of Dayton, Ohio – fleeing in a vehicle from a law enforcement officer in reckless indifference to the safety of others, speeding in a construction zone, improper passing, and failure to obey traffic control device

Randy L. Bailes, Sr. (1979) of 1351 Heizer Creek Road, Poca – Breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, person prohibited from possessing a firearm

Joseph B. Boggess, II (1974) of Sissonville – obtaining money by false pretense, grand larceny, providing false or misleading information to the Department of Public Safety
