NOW – DECEMBER 26
The St. Albans Festival of Lights is going on nightly from 6 to 8 p.m. at the St. Albans City Park, 931 Observatory Drive, St. Albans.

THROUGHOUT DECEMBER
The Buffalo United Methodist Church will be hosting an Advent Bible Study every Thursday morning at 10 a.m.

DECEMBER 23
Bethel Baptist Church, located on Hurricane Creek Road, will be holding a Christmas cantata starting at 6:30 p.m.

DECEMBER 24
The Buffalo United Methodist Church will be holding a Christmas Eve service.
Creekside Church, 488 Charleys Creek Road, Culloden, will be holding their Christmas celebration at 6 p.m.
The Winfield United Methodist Church, 20 Radwin Drive, will be holding a Christmas Eve Service of Light at 7 p.m.
The First Baptist Church of Hurricane, located on Main Street, will be holding a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m.

DECEMBER 25
The Buffalo United Methodist Church will be holding a Christmas Cantata at 9:45 a.m.
Red House Bible Church, 51 Warner Lane, Red House, will be holding Christmas Day services starting at 10:45 a.m.
The First Baptist Church of Hurricane, located on Main Street, will be holding Christmas morning services at 10 a.m.

DECEMBER 30

DECEMBER 31
The Clay Center in Charleston will be holding Noon Year’s Eve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Celebrate the New Year at noon.
To celebrate its 70th birthday, the Town of Bancroft will have a history open house at the Town Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be a New Year’s Eve glow foam dance party for children ages 7-14 from 7 to 9 p.m. and ages 1-6 from 10 a.m. to midnight at the Foam Garage, 2716 Putnam Avenue, Hurricane.

JANUARY 3
There will be a Vision Board Workshop at 3:30 p.m. at the Putnam County Main Library in Teays Valley and at the Hurricane Branch Library. Set yourself up for success in the new year is by visualizing your dreams about how your want your life to look.

JANUARY 6 – 7
The 35th annual Toughman Contest is coming to the Mountain Health Arena in Huntington. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $30.
