Community Calendar for Week of February 23

A Youth Book Club meets at the Eleanor Library at 3:30 p.m. every Monday.

Sit and Stitch – a crochet basics class – will be held during business hours every Tuesday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at the Hurricane Library.

There will be a free open gym for 1st through 5th graders from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at ZoneOut Sports, Morris Court, Hurricane.

The Love Your Library Book Sale is ongoing at the Putnam County Main Library.

Road Riders For Jesus Chapter #23 will be holding a no ride event – dinner, fellowship and a movie – at Nitro First Presbyterian, 111 21st Street, Nitro.
The Mello Fellows will be performing at 8 p.m. at Riverside Cafe, 3680 Winfield Road, Winfield.
There will be an internet basics class at 10 a.m. at the Putnam County Main Library in Teays Valley.

The Putnam County Main Library in Teays Valley will be showing the movie “Soul” at 10 a.m.
Life Seasons Support & Counseling Services, 3465 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, will be holding a 2 hour workshop for middle school girls about managing emotions from a clinical and biblical perspective from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $60; to register, call (304) 840-9300.
