Prom King Jake Lovejoy and Prom Queen Beverley Burgess take their seats of honor.

The John Henson Senior Center in Hurricane stepped backward in time to 2019 on Friday, May12th. The Center hosted Putnam County Aging Program’s Senior Prom, the first since the onset of COVID. Prior to the pandemic, the prom was an annual event for Putnam’s senior citizens. The Aging Program operates the Buffalo, Hometown and Henson Centers.

The prom captured the magic of the moment with the lottery selection of the 2023 Prom King and Prom Queen. Upon receiving their crowns, Jake Lovejoy and Beverley Burgess danced the night away.

The prom produced smiles on the faces of all in attendance.
