Abigail Landers (center) is all smiles upon being selected as Miss Putnam County 2023.

Abigail Landers was crowned Miss Putnam County 2023 at Putnam County Homecoming festivities at Winfield on Sunday, September 10th. Miss Landers is the daughter of Kevin and Amy Landers of Eleanor and a senior at Buffalo High School.

She has participated in many activities at Buffalo High, among which are cross country and track, student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, pep club, and prom committee. She has served as secretary for Bison for Christ and National Teenage Republicans. After high school, she plans to attend Marshall University and pursue a degree in Elementary Education.

Miss Landers was awarded a scholarship toward her cllege expenses by Valley Outdoors.
