There will be story time at the Bufalo and Hurricane Libraries at 10 a.m., and the Putnam County Main Library at 6 p.m.

OCTOBER 13 – 15
The Bob Evans Farm Festival will be held in Rio Grande, Ohio. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday; 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday; and9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $5 per person.

OCTOBER 13
The Nitro Antique Car Club will be hosting their Santa Cruise-in starting at 5 p.m. at the Living Memorial Park, 21st Street and 2nd Avenue, Nitro. Bring a new unwrapped toy for registration.
The Zoology Science Center, located at Valley Park in Hurricane, will be holding Science Story Time at 1 p.m. The topic will be on chemical energy.
Social Event Space, 2833 Main Street, Hurricane, will be holding a Nightmare on Main Street Party from 6 to 11 p.m. The theme will be classic horror movies.

OCTOBER 14
There will be a free family fall festival at the St. Albans City Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
West Virginia Home Mission Church, 1128 Benamati Avenue, Nitro, will be holding a fall harvest festival starting at 2 p.m.
The West Virginia First Responders Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. at the Poca Community Volunteer Fire Department.
Hometown Apostolic Church, 204 2nd Avenue S, will be hosting the Trailmasters Cornhole Tournament starting at noon. Admission: $30 per team.
Ignite Athletics is hosting the 2nd Annual Ready Set GLOW 5K Run/Walk from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Eleanor Fairgrounds.
