The Upper Vandalia Historical Society, the historical society of Putnam County, will meet at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, at the Bancroft Church of God Mission, 5936 Charleston Road, Bancroft. The topic of the meeting will be a round table discussion of local history and club elections. Everyone is welcome. Park in rear of church and go through back door of annex building.
