Both sides of Main Street were filled with trick or treaters.
Crowds of excited costumed children and their parents flocked to Main Street last Saturday, October 28, for Hurricane’s Main Street Trick or Treat. Main Street was closed between A-Z Storage and the old fire station for the duration of the event. Both sides of the street were lined with families. Businesses on Morris Court also participated in the event by giving away candy to trick or treaters. Children also enjoyed carnival style games, posed for photos amidst the city’s Halloween decorations, and listened to spooky stories told by workers from the Putnam County Library.
