The Putnam County Commission recognized E-911 and Office of Emergency Management Director Mikyle White for being named the 2023 Director of the Year by the WV APCO & 911 Council. Commissioner Andy Skidmore read a proclamation honoring White at the November 14 commission meeting. White serves as Chairman of the Commission to Advance Next Generation 911 in West Virginia. White is credited with having transformed Putnam County 911 into a model program for statewide adoption.
