The restaurant that many in the Hurricane community have long desired is open. Sergio’s Cucina Italiana & Steaks is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 12 to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
Lovers of Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and other Italian delicacies and good steaks were standing in line following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2803 Main Street in Hurricane on Monday, December 11, to experience a menu that offered a variety of starters, pastas, steak and salmon.
Owner Sergio Lugo-Mata also operates the Guadalajara Modern Mexican Restaurant in Nitro but Sergio’s in Hurricane is the destination for steak and Italian cuisine.
Starters include Meatballs, Smoked Cheese Fondue, Fresh Bruschetta, Fried Mozzarella, Meatball Sliders, Grilled Italian Sausage, Arancini Bites, and Chicken Alfredo Fries.
For pasta, it is Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Fettuccine Rosa, Steak Tortellini, Spaghetti, Lasagna, Italian Sausage with Pomodoro, Manicotti, Seafood Alfredo, Four Cheese Chicken Penne, Chicken Parmigiana, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Tortellini Pasta Salad.
Steak and fish offerings are Porterhouse T-bone, Filet, NY Strip, Ribeye, Sirloin, Sirloin & Shrimp Fondue, Italian Crusted Salmon. Salads and soup are also on the menu.
