Owner Martin Woody prepares to cut the ribbon in a private ceremony attended by City of Hurricane officials on Friday, February 2nd.
The parking lot at 76 Midland Trail in Hurricane was full well before Big Time Bins II opened its doors at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 3.
Marketing Director for the City of Hurricane Amanda Ramey said, “I was not expecting anything like this. I thought it would take a week or two before the public caught on to how Big Time Bins operates.”
The business stocks its bins once a week while closed on Thursdays and Fridays. Every item in the store is priced at $7 on Saturdays. All that is not sold on Saturday is priced at $5 on Sunday. That which is not sold on Sunday is available for $3 on Monday. On Tuesday, the price is $2 and on Wednesday the price is $1.
While Saturday’s $7 is highest, the selection is greatest and within the offerings are items valued far in excess of $7.
The store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday through Wednesday.
