Cole Parsons, an eleven-year-old fifth grader from Hurricane, has become a viral sensation after his mother, Nici, posted a video of him playing an electric guitar on TikTok. The video has been viewed almost 30 million times, and has received comments from famous artists such as Mötley Crüe and Brad Arnold, the singer from 3 Doors Down, as well as actress Viola Davis.

Cole learned to play the electric guitar when he was five years old, and practices for an hour every day. In addition to performing songs by Van Halen, Metallica, and other metal bands, he has written a few of his own songs. He says that he wants to be in a metal band one day.
