Paul Richard Spurlock, 67, of Hurricane, was sentenced Monday, June 3, to eight months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $106,500 in restitution for bank fraud. Spurlock admitted that he embezzled approximately $106,500 from a fraternal organization’s historic charitable care home by using his position as its board’s treasurer.
