Swinging in Almost Heaven at Valley Park

Valley Park joined more than twenty other West Virginia sites which feature a super-sized Almost Heaven swing on Thursday, June 25th. The swings are placed at scenic locations where visitors may take selfies. Social media posts of Almost Heaven swings allow West Virginia’s beauty to be seen by millions.

Valley Park joins Babcock State Park, Blackwater Falls State Park, Bluestone State Park, Buffalo Creek, Cacapon Resort State Park, Canaan Valley Resort State Park, Charleston, Chief Logan State Park, Coopers Rock State Forest, Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park, East River Mountain Overlook, Grand Vue Park, Hatfield-McCoy Trail, Lake Stephens, Lost River State Park, Oglebay, Philippi Covered Bridge, Pipestem Resort State Park, Rockhouse Trail System – Hatfield McCoy Trails, Stonewall Resort State Park, Summersville State Park, Tomlinson Run State Park, Wheeling Heritage Port, West Virginia State Capitol.
