Putnam County Grand Jury Indicts 52 Individuals

Putnam County Prosecuting Attorney, Kristina D. Raynes, reports that indictments were returned by the July 2024 Term Putnam County Grand Jury alleging fifty-two (52) persons committed one hundred nine (109) felonies and thirty-two (32) misdemeanors. The following is the defendant’s last known address, and offenses for which they were indicted.

Vallas P. Bell of 2331 Sams Fork Road, Hurricane – Fleeing in a vehicle from a law-enforcement officer while under the influence of alcohol and fleeing in a vehicle from a law-enforcement officer causing property damage

Devan A. Brumfield of 4423 Washington Street West, Charleston – Driving in an impaired state, third offense, driving on a revoked license-DUI related, and possession of a controlled substance

Tony B.
